Replacing the conventional scalpel method for our elective surgeries (spay, neuter, declaws), the high intensity of the laser cauterizes the blood vessels as it cuts through the tissue, resulting in less bleeding, along with sealing off the nerve endings, resulting in less pain for the patient. This video will take you through the experience of a spay done with the CO2 Laser from the first incision to the last suture. The surgery was routine and her healing successful.
